Warehouse Coordinator (Full-Time)

Company Background:

JD Painting & Decorating, Inc. a locally owned business operating in Hawaii for over 34 years has ONE immediate opening.  We are looking for a dependable worker with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality work, customer satisfaction and safety.  ONE full-time position available.  Weekends off. 

Job Summary: 

Under the direct supervision of the Paint Shop Supervisor(s), this position will assist in the service department by prepping equipment, materials, and keeping the shop orderly and clean.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Track inventory and order when necessary.
• Upkeep warehouse and maintain a safe environment.
• Upkeep office; empty all office trash, weekly cleaning of bathrooms, spot mop office, and basic repairs.
• Keep tools and equipment maintained and organized.
• Maintain company vehicles; make sure vehicles are serviced, updated, and fueled.
• Order materials and equipment when necessary.
• Pick-up/deliver materials and equipment when necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned. 
• Meet or exceed all Environmental Health & Safety requirements and quality standards during all job activities.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Able to work closely with Paint Shop personnel to create and support a team atmosphere.
• Able to operate forklift, loading, and unloading various items.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of standard and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to pass a background check to get onto military bases.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License.
• Able to drive manual automobile is a plus.

Physical/Working Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Work is performed in a shop environment, both indoors and outdoors, and exposed to a variety of weather conditions. Subject to prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching and stooping.  Lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing objects up to 50 pounds at times.
• May occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme noise, and physical harm.
• Occasional climbing, crawling, and overhead work.
• Ability to meet respirator fit testing requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:
The starting salary for this position will be established commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. A comprehensive benefits package includes Health and Vision Insurance and Paid Time Off.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
